Sensory Processing: A Toolbox for Atypical Patient Behavior

Have you noticed an increase in atypical behaviors and responses from your patients? Are you struggling with disrupted visits due to patient discomfort? Sensory Processing Disorder is more prevalent in children than autism, and as common as ADHD. Understanding SPD will help you make adjustments in your practice, to increase positive outcomes. This course will cover an overview of sensory processing, eight specific areas of sensory processing disorder, and additional considerations for the dental professional.

Speakers: Lea Morgan, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist with 24 years of clinical experience. She founded SIPP to educate other professionals about SPD and to increase positive community experiences for children with SPD.

1.5 LIVE/Interactive CE offered for those in attendance. Certificates will be available under the "Completed" tab in your CE Smart Learning Center immediately following the event. 

For those that cannot attend live, the recording will be automatically available in your CE Smart Learning Center within 24 hours post-event. 1.5 CE can be earned after successful completion of a post-test.
