Mental Health in Dental Professionals: The Pandemic & Beyond

It’s no secret that the impact of COVID-19 has taken its toll on more than our physical health. By all accounts, anxiety and depression are on the rise globally. But what are the unique experiences of oral care professionals and what can we do to address this crisis for ourselves and our patients? 
 
Joint research of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) on anxiety and depression symptoms of dentists and dental hygienists has just been released, providing insights and advancing the discussion on this important topic.
 
Join ADHA, the ADA and guest experts in mental health as we review the findings and host an expert-led forum about mental health challenges facing our oral care community. We’ll address questions and share support resources and strategies for the entire oral care team.
