This course is geared towards hygienists who are interested in pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors outside of the typical dental practice. Before starting your own business, it is vital to understand key financial concepts. You will learn the role of finance in business success including how finance supports decision-making, growth, and sustainability as well as how to balance risk and reward in financial planning. The main financial statements will be reviewed in addition to creating a business budget and financial forecasting.
