Brought to you through a generous sponsorship from Curodont from vVardis.

May 6, 2026
| 6:00 – 7:00 pm CT
Registration closes 5/06 at 5:15 pm CT

Speaker: Lisa Mayo, RDH, BSDH, MHA

This course examines current and emerging methodologies for the detection and non-invasive management of early dental caries. Participants will review recent evidence supporting minimally invasive interventions in comparison to traditional methodologies and discuss clinical protocols that preserve natural tooth structure while improving long-term outcomes.

In this webinar you will:

  • Identify and classify carious lesions using the American Dental Association Caries Classification System to empower the RDH to intervene early and preserve natural tooth structure.
  • Integrate evidence based, noninvasive caries treatment modalities into patient care plans and clinical workflows, positioning the RDH as a key driver in tooth saving preventive care.
  • Explain the mechanism of action and clinical efficacy of contemporary noninvasive and chemotherapeutic caries management strategies.
  • Select appropriate noninvasive and chemotherapeutic interventions based on lesion presentation, caries risk assessment, and the RDH’s scope of practice.
  • Deliver clear, confident patient communication that strengthens the RDH’s role in helping patients understand and accept noninvasive treatment options designed to stop disease and save teeth.
