Dental AI: Are Hygienists Ready?
Results of the 2024 Dental Hygienist Survey Findings

Artificial Intelligence has the potential to bring transformative change to dental and dental hygiene practices across the United States. But how do hygienists feel about it? Are they excited? Nervous? Don’t know enough to form an opinion yet?
Join Dr. JoAnn Gurenlian, ADHA Director of Education, Research & Advocacy, and Kathy Copas, Heartland Dental Director of Clinical Operations on this 1-hour webinar, as they dive into findings from a recent survey of almost 600 practicing hygienists on their thoughts, experience and opinions on AI integration in dental practice. Participate in this thought-provoking conversation, hosted specifically for dental hygiene program faculty and administrators, to understand how ready hygienists feel for technology that has the potential to shape and revolutionize the future of the dental profession.
Your hosts will explore how dental AI works, with real-world evidence from the largest dental AI pilot conducted in the U.S.

In this webinar you will:
  • Identify dental hygienists'; knowledge of and attitudes towards dental artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Explore what exposure, if any, hygienists have had to dental AI and what experience they may have had applying the technology in a clinical setting.
  • Recognize how dental AI has changed dental office operations with real-world evidence from the largest dental AI pilot in America.
  • Discuss ways dental hygiene programs faculty and administrators can bring resources on dental AI to current students.
