Speakers: Anne O. Rice, RDH, BS, FAAOSH, CDP, has been a clinical dental hygienist for over 30 years. She created Oral Systemic Seminars in 2017 to which she now devotes her time, focus and study primarily to dementia prevention. Anne received her preceptor for the Bale/Doneen method and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. In 2020 Anne became certified as a Longevity Specialist with the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation, and has also presented and helped with their curriculum. She is a Fellow with The American Academy of Oral Systemic Health and in 2021 published her manuscript Alzheimer’s Disease and Oral-Systemic Health: Bidirectional Care Integration Improving Outcomes. The perspective article was part of a research topic: Integrating Oral and Systemic Health: Innovations in Transdisciplinary Science, Health Care and Policy. Ann E. Spolarich, RDH, PhD, FSCDH, is an internationally recognized author and speaker on pharmacology and the care of medically complex patients. She has presented over 1,000 invited lectures and has over 125 professional publications. She is a Professor, Course Director of Oral Medicine and Pharmacology, and Assistant Dean for Research at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, A.T. Still University (ATSU), where she teaches part-time in the Special Care Clinic.
