Course Description: The Pro-preneur: Designing Your Resilient, Flexible Career is designed to empower licensed dental professionals to confidently own their professional identity while using flexible work as a long-term career strategy. The goal is not to eliminate temp work, but to reframe it by putting the professional first and equipping hygienists with the language, mindset, and tools to advocate for their value.

Learning Objectives:

• Reframe temporary shifts as an intentional, professional choice.
• Demonstrate practical communication tools for introducing yourself and setting expectations in any office.
• Design a sustainable, burnout-resistant career through flexibility.
• Prepare for future career mobility through education and advocacy, including the Dental Hygienist Compact.
• Use workforce data, such as State of Work insights, to support conversations around pay, working conditions, and career sustainability.
