Compact Comparisons: Which is Best for Hygienists? (March)

Course Description: Have you heard conflicting information about dental hygiene licensure compacts? Are you concerned about ADHA's ongoing collaboration with the ADA on the DDH Compact? ADHA welcomes you to take this informational course on the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact (DDH Compact). The DDH Compact was developed in collaboration with the Department of Defense, The Council of State Governments, American Dental Hygienists' Association and American Dental Association. CSG will provide information about the DDH compact including a legislative update and overview of the differences between the DDH Compact and the AADB Compact.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the purpose of DDH Compact.
  • List requirements to participate in DDH Compact.
  • Compare and contrast the two compacts for dental hygiene.
