Course Description: This course provides an essential update on Oral Preventive Assistant (OPA) legislation and its impact on dental hygiene practice. Participants will explore strategies used to overcome OPA challenges in Nevada and Missouri, examine alternative legislative approaches that can be introduced in other states, and learn about resources available through ADHA to support advocacy efforts. The session will conclude with a Q&A to address participant questions and foster discussion.
