Course Description: This course dives into designing a blended model of teaching based on varied educational methodologies with a goal of implementing low-tech enhancements to the learning environment. The course speaks about enhancing current methods and examples being used in the classroom today on the gen-z learner.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify key challenges students face in learning head and neck anatomy in a dental hygiene program.
  • Describe a variety of evidence-based teaching methodologies tailored for anatomy instruction.
  • Compare traditional and modern approaches, including technology-enhanced strategies.
  • Evaluate the role of formative and summative assessments in supporting student competence.
  • Design a blended teaching approach that incorporates visual, tactile, and interactive learning tools.
