Course Description: The purpose of this session for attendees to understand the importance of self-care and a positive work-life balance as a career dental hygienist. We will identify the stresses of the dental hygiene profession and how to manage these stresses, discuss the importance of physical and mental well-being and how they affect our overall well-being, and develop individualized self-care and work-life balance plans to prevent burnout. This session will utilize Poll Everywhere as well as provide a QR code to a document that will guide attendees on developing their individualized self-care and work-life balance plan. *Note: This course offers a closed-captioned option as well as auto-translated subtitles in 10 languages.
