Course Description: The goal of infection prevention & control (IPC) is to prevent healthcare-associated infections in patients and injuries and illnesses in personnel. To accomplish this goal, site-specific compliance with current CDC guidance is critical. This presentation will provide an overview of current guidance including CDC Core Practices, emphasizing the relevance for oral healthcare settings. Resources from CDC and OSAP to facilitate site-specific implementation and evaluation will be provided. *Note: This course offers a closed-captioned option as well as auto-translated subtitles in 10 languages.
