Course Description: Organizational culture is an important element for all areas of business, and is supportive to employee engagement, retention, and growth. A strong mission, vision and values define what it is that teams commit to, as well as what they are working toward – an established purpose for what they do. Positive culture is more important now than ever, recognizing its importance for business, as well as team wellness. The changing environment affecting the workforce today has raised awareness for the importance of positive culture and the role that each team member plays to build a high performing culture, where vision, strategy and accountability are aligned with team member behaviors. This program will equip learners with skills to impact cultural change, where needed, as well as recognize how the patient experience is elevated when positive culture leads to improved team performance. Specific to the dental practice the importance of safety and service culture commitments will also be discussed as the program reviews the changing landscape within the profession of dental hygiene. *Note: This course offers a closed-captioned option as well as auto-translated subtitles in 10 languages.
