Course Description:
For centuries the dental profession has taken a surgical approach to disease treatment. Finally, a shift is happening
towards modalities that preserve natural tooth structure and manage disease in a new way. With many new products
emerging, it is important for dental hygienists to know and understand these minimally invasive options including
silver diamine fluoride, povidone iodine, Curodont, glass ionomers, interim therapeutic restorations, and more. In
many cases, it is the role of the dental hygienist to introduce and implement these products into the dental practice
and can help boost production while providing excellent treatment options for our patients.
*Note: This course offers a closed-captioned option as well as auto-translated subtitles in 10 languages.
